Hello! I’m Natalie. I’m glad you’re here.

I’m a clinical Social Worker, Psychotherapist in private practice in Toronto. I’ve been in practice for the last 10 years and specialize in trauma-focused therapy, perinatal mental health and provider mental health.

I was inspired to become a therapist after doing my own healing work. My experience as a client of being truly seen was the catalyst for the most profound transformation. My approach to therapy is relationship-centred. I believe that being seen and known are at the heart of living a safer, more satisfying and connected life. I believe that therapy needs to be non-judgmental, compassionate and collaborative. Together, we’ll explore how to reconnect to yourself and to your community.

My approach to therapy is rooted in Relational Psychotherapy and I am also trained in many evidence-based modalities (specifically, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy) to ensure that together we can find an approach that is right for you.

What does this approach mean for you?

It means that I meet you where you are, because our relationship as client and therapist is central to your healing process. This therapeutic relationship is based on careful attunement, attending, empathy, safety and trust. Through the cultivation of a safe and secure relationship you are able to explore and mend hurtful or frustrating - past and current - relational dynamics.
